Few notes from the Colon E Baker
Drew Roggie was in the Finals with a tough match with 5-3 decision loss to Keen from Chantilly. Jake Stewart 4th at 120 with a victory vs Krajic from Chantilly earlier in the day then loss in the 3rd place match to same wrestler by decision. Murray and Foard wrestled a great finals at the Colon E Baker. 5-4, could have gone other way with Foard winning this round. Tommy Montgomory won the 126 class with victory over March from GBridge Brady Bollander also in the finals vs Lewis from Great Bridge Lewis PC placed 6th Riley Finck STC lost in finals to Lowrence from GBridge
Many other STC and Benidictine kids in the placement rounds but this was ones I saw personally.

Superducky, I would probably bet on Turley if I was a betting man. The reasons to not rush him up the rankings is he is currently descending (135.6 is the lowest weigh in yet) and he needs to earn varsity accolades holding that weight before he goes above a high returning state placer. He is of course a stud and going to challenge everyone at that very tough weight assuming that weight cut is not a problem.

At 126 Montgomery (PC) looked amazing, kudos to his improvement. At 165 from stc Pendlebury will be the starter I would bet. He pinned Ryan Nguyen- BEN and looked good placing 4th in a tough great bridge event. He got caught in his 3rd place match while winning.
Calling the dark horse weight now! Coz vs Montgomery 126 finals if you seed it right

Gcscoach, where did you find the weigh in weight for Turley? I haven't been able to find any info on actual or min allowable weights.
And Superducky, it looks like Cozzolino may not be at 126 this season. I see where he's wrestled a few times at 138 and 132 so far this year. Maybe Gcscoach has more insight :-)

If you pay into the weight management system on track (and know where to look), you have access to every National Prep teams records to an extent. Their weigh in weights show up so you can see descents in progress. Concerning Daniel Cozzolino, he is taking one for the team on what weight he is wrestling. I have four kids certified at 126 so I am moving them to make the best dual meet team possible. He walks around at 128. I am mean and make him wrestle up. That will change after the Christmas break when our competition heats up a bit.
