With the VAWA state tournament just ending I was wondering if anyone saw any upcoming talent.
I attended the tournament and saw many good 8th graders. One of them being Jackson Crowder he won 126 pound weight and won all his matches by bonus points. Not sure what high school he is going to attend but for sure gonna be a stud in high school.
Let me know if you know of any other 8th graders

Top 2 I can think of is Graydon Martin and Reza Massjouni. Graydon beat O’Keefe 18-7 I think. And Reza has beaten Jackson this year. Both are top tier talent. We all know Graydons brother Colin Martin. And Graydon just might be a little better. Both gonna be hard to handle next year. Graydon has been Super 32 finalist a couple times and is a Tulsa Champ. Reza has won super 32 and AAU Nationals.

Reid Stiltner will be top notch which ever school he ends up at. Four timer barring injury.
2A schools should be on the look out for Levi Wright at Glenvar and the twins from Central (Wise). All three 8th graders should fill some spots from graduating wrestlers next year.

15Y+: Top tier: Graydon Martin, Colton Jones 2nd tier: Ben Proper, Zane Messiter, Reid Stiltner, Elliott Byers, Elliott Crews 3rd tier: Jackson Crowder, Levi Wright
14U: Top tier: Reza Massjouni, Cruz Little, Mitchell Chen 2nd tier: Henry Jones, Takoda Parker
All of them are capable to place at States next year. The top tier guys will contend for state title. Reid Stiltner will be a 4-timer at Grundy (assuming he goes there)
I'm sure I'm missing a few.

You also have Riley Keen. Lynchburg kid. He’s really come on the last couple years. I think he can make an impact freshman year. If he goes 106 he could contend for a top spot.

2A upcoming 106 possibilities Nolan Adolphson 2nd,3rd,3rd at Vawa and Mawa National place winner last year at 3rd place.
Mason Wood Riverheads one place away from placing at Vawa and believed he placed 5th or 6 last year.
Carter Dye Richlands one place away from pacing at Vawa.

[br Yes i’m pretty positive they will be all high schoolers next year and my apologies on Dye i thought he was a Richland wrestler. Derek Kennedy From Poquoson 140 plus next year will contribute to a stacked team coming back.

Alliya walker from rural retreat will make some noise. She placed 5th in the boys at vawa this year. She also beat Houston bear earlier this year 4 to 2. He placed 3rd at 106 at vhsl

Hopefully he's born after August 1st or that would make him ineligible his senior year.
