Which weight class would you classify as hardest this year in 2A?
1st - 120 four possible winners there imo, and all four win 1A and possibly contend in 3a. 2nd - 165 injured Potter still better than most kids, Burks, McNeil… all tough 3rd - 190 Miller pound for pound best at 2A imo should win but several including Burnham, and Radford guy competing for 2nd.
On the other end of spectrum easiest brackets are: 106 - Wynn is good others are glad they are in 2A HWT - none of the heavyweights place at 215 imo, but a champion will be crowned.

Pretty good analysis.
120 is the toughest. 165 - the biggest problem with injury is you can't really get in full practice. I'd question Potter's gas tank. If I'm Burks or McNeil, I'd keep it close and see if I can push Potter in the 3rd period. 190 - Miller is untouchable
Agreed that 106 and 285 are the easiest ones.

Good subject.
I would add 157. Jacobson is the favorite. Ray from Lebanon has been somewhat flying under the radar is very good. Marlowe and Williams are real good from Region C. Dupree from Richlands is also very good.
Agree on pushing Potter. He just does not seem near 100%. His challengers have nothing to lose by going for it.
I agree that 4 2A kids could compete in the 3A 120 bracket. Forbes has beat 8 of the kids in the 3A state 16 person bracket including 2 regional champions.

Don't underestimate Harrell at 106.
He's filled out a little bit since last year and the score was only 2-0 last year in semi's between him and Wynn when the match ended in the third. I think Wynn is the favorite, but I wouldn't count Harrell out.

True Contenders
If anyone not on this list wins a title, I'd be stunned (barring injury)
106 - Wynn, Harrell 113 - Cash 120 - Dean, Owsley, Forbes, Withrow 126 - Goodson, Spears 132 - Yowell 138 - Burks, Latta, Yoder 144 - Martinez, Stewart, Booth 150 - Burks, Hass, Wood 157 - Jacobson, Williams, Ray, Marlowe 165 - Potter, Burks, McNeil 175 - Flowers 190 - Miller, Martin 215 - Conrad 285 - Lopez

It should be a good finals match.

He then shoots and Miller counters and takes him down and turns him. It appears to be a flawed strategy. Miller is too good to make a big mistake and he appears to know exactly what Martin is trying to do. If Martin wants to win he is going to need to try a different approach. Miller appears to be in excellent condition and at the top of his game. I don't believe he is needing to extend himself at all so far. Just my opinion as an observer.

I don't disagree, Miller is on another level, but I did not want to discredit Martin as a wrestler. He is capable of keeping it close, not sure if he is capable of getting the job done

I could see Harrell winning if the match goes the distance otherwise Wynn by fall

Look out for Shaw at #190. He’s cross-bracketed from Miller IMO he should be in the finals against him. Of course none of the HWT would place at #215. They wouldn’t make the weight that’s why are HWT 🤣

Shaw is wrestling really well and has completely dominated this post season.

120/138/157/190 maybe most competitive. Dean,Burks,Jacobson and Miller are my favorites to win. Won’t be long now headed over to Salem tomorrow good luck to all and safe travels everyone.
