Spears is a stud. But dodging Yowell to face Goodson who’s equally as talented.

From working the college matches and watching Poquoson should’ve been in the 2nd division. They had 1 stud and 3-4 other very good wrestlers. But one of the coaches said they have some starters who just bought Wrestling shoes last month when Football ended. So they prob are a black n blue team after 144 pounds

126 of Goodson and Spears will be fire, hope it's in the finals and not the semis. Will central be able to put up enough points to overtake Poquoson for 2nd? Hope so too. Personally i think Poquosan is the favorite at 2nd, but it all depends on the brackets and matchups and how much can qualify to states. Region D looks pretty tough! Goodson's technical skills vs Spear's strength. Can't wait.

Anything notable from Ed Cressel this weekend? Central (Wise) looked good finishing 3rd only 1 point out of 2nd behind 4A and 5A schools. Owsley at 120 will push the top guys. Davis at 175 on a good day can be tough. Luke Josey (215) looked good too. Spears (126) will be a terror, he is big and strong. Potter’s first tournament, I think anyway, and he looked good but definitely needs to get used to large knee brace. There was a stop in his last match to check on the knee. Track has him listed as medical forfeit in finals match hopefully he is healthy. Radford has some tough wrestlers at 157, 165, 175, 190, and 215. If they all wrestle to their ability they will make noise in Salem. How did the middle weights look at the cressel 132-150?

How did the middle weights look at the cressel 132-150? No one from 2A made semis that I recall from 132-150 except Hass from Graham. He had no tough matches except in the finals and he pulled a throw out in last seconds to win by 1. Penix from Lee at 132 looks like the cream of the crop at 132 from Region D.
