I think Noah can definitely maintain 138 he went 126 at super 32 and cuts weight really well I believe Saavedra might cut down to 132 Manning and Colin go down as well making manning a top 3 finish, as well as letting Colin win 120 without worry’s of Sanati and Saavedra take the 132 title or Saavedra bumps up to 144 going for the title there then bumping Hatcher to 150 Either way Noah going 138 is the best option for SR Saavedra is a State champ level wrestler we seen that last year the calls against him were very questionable last year in the finals SR is definitely finding out a way to get him on top the podium this year

Va Duals will prob show the true lineup

I definitely do not see Colin dropping to 120. If he were then we would’ve seen him there at Ironman or Powerade. I do see Colin bumping to 132 though. If you consider the fact that 3A will be a 3 team race among Staunton River, New Kent and Skyline it makes more sense for Colin to bump to 132 where he would finish ahead of Skylines Josiah Sykes. I could see Staunton Rivers Manning dropping to 126 and he’d place higher than New Kent and Skyline at that weight class. At 138, Christiansburg’s Brady Hand is favored to win there with Staunton Rivers Saavedra right behind him. Since these 2 are in the same region then they’d be on opposite sides of the bracket at states and would see each other in the finals again with Staunton River Placing higher than New Kent or Skyline. At 144, I could see Noah wrestling here at states. Currently New Kent’s Bentley is ranked number one and Skylines Solomon number 2. If Nininger goes here then again Staunton River places higher than New Kent or Skyline. At 150, Brentsville’s Billy Tyler would be the favorite and I could see Hatcher wrestling here. Again Staunton River would place higher than New Kent or Skyline. The rest of the weights should be pretty straightforward.

Don't think those two stand a chance at 138/150 though while one of them would at 144, though I certainly see the point of view. Will be fun to see what happens.

Where is Davion Clarke, 215. He definitely deserves to put on the top15 in the State for All-State. He is a top dog. He putting Hermitage High School on the map. He is the face of Hermitage. He definitely going to States. I think he deserves a top 15 spot

I think putting Saavedra’s name in the 144 bracket and letting Noah take over the 138 bracket at state makes for a exciting one with Bently, Salomon and Saavedra anyone of them can win that bracket with them all being from the top schools as well

No problem. I am in the midst of updating the 5A rankings and have a question. Irizarry beat Ciotoli 3-1 at the Toys for Tots Tournament 2 weeks ago. What is justification for ranking him below Ciotoli in VAWA rankings? Am I missing another recent H-2-H? it was the lose to Brandon Cynar of Western Branch 11-6 at King of Beasts on 12/16. Not saying losing to Cynar is a bad loss. Just had Ciotoli ranked #1 at 113 so he doesn’t fall back that far losing a close match and Irizarry was ranked 11th but the wins against Hunter Elliott and now Ciotoli moves him back up. He also has an earlier loss to Loudon County’s Bryce Schnelzer.

He weighed in at 144 for VA Duals and he’s already made scratch. That would move Saavedra to 144 where he would battle Bentley and Solomon.

Anxious to see some updates after this past weeks results. Individual and teams rankings should have lots of movement.
