285 could take a look at in my opinion. Not to say that these guys are not good but some guys I think could be moved up, down, or replaced.
Dustin Richards from William Byrd. 3rd in the 3a rankings, won big blue, won big red, and looks to only have 1 loss on the year at 19-1. Only loss is to the Turner Ashby Heavyweight at Heritage. Solid year
Jacob Carter- Won the TA tournament that the First Colonial kid was at. FC finished 3rd and Carter won it. 51-3 on the year losing to Richards 4-2 in 2OT, Vaught from Galax (3rd in 1a last year at 220), and Helmut from Millbrook 5-1 (4th in 4a last year). He pinned McKenzie from Wilson Memorial in the 1st where Meadows from LCA only beat him 3-0 this past weekend. Solid year.

Carter also has another common opponent with Meadows and that’s Cali from Grace Christian at the LCA invitational. Carter pinned Cali early in the 2nd and Meadows pinned him late in the 2nd.
It looks like Richards also forfeited out of that tournament so he should have more than 1 loss if you’re counting the forfeits. Should have 3 on the year really and not 1.

I don't think forfeiting out of a tournament should be counted as a loss. My question is if a wrestler receives a forfeit should that be counted as a win for that wrestler on their record?

Most coaches count forfeits as wins for their kids.
If a kid forfeits out of a match it counts as a loss because someone has to be deemed the winner. So by that logic, a kid forfeiting out of a tournament counts as losses too.
It’s a sucky way to lose, but if the wrestler takes the win over you because you can’t continue, it’s a loss.

Counting forfeits as wins or losses is silly! Sooo many ballooned records because of forfeits

Unfortunately not everyone sees it that way. I do agree with the losses not counting as losses if they don’t actually step on the mat. But in track it counts it as a loss.

Jacob Carter beat Looney, the p4p HWT, last night in the finals 3-1 and Carter controlled the match. Looney’s 1 point came from an escape in the last 15 seconds. Jacob Carter looked amazing all weekend and all season. Should move way up in the rankings, if not #1. He won the TA Tournament, ahead of the First Colonial kid who finished 3rd.

138 Eberly is 8th? He had a ridiculous off season then was injured 90% of this season, does "Body of work" kick in here. 3x state champ, beat several other state champs in the off season, coming off of NHSCA All American status.
