Mi amigo, Luis Mandito Valdez proclaims to have found chinks in the armor of New Kent. I believe the Men of Troy, our Trojan Warriors, recognized their shortcomings and worked to polish their armor throughout the long and arduous journey which was the pre-season. They have emerged from their self-imposed gauntlet and are ready to defend the honor of their school, families, program, county, commonwealth and great nation.
The lineup this year is looking good:
106 - They have a really good Freshman!
113/120 - Gibson and Colgin (Gibson was a champ and Wasn't Colgin a runner up once?).
126 - Eberly is looking GREAT (2x champ)
132 - Youngest Ragland is on FIRE (previous champ)
138/145 - Jordon and Holloway are looking VERY, VERY good (Jordon champ/runner up, Holloway 2x champ)
152 - Middle Ragland is SO good! (2x champ)
160/170 - Vafiadis and Baker are EXTREMELY strong ( 3x champ and 2x champ)
182 - Townsend is looking good after competing this summer and is ready to make a name for himself
195 - Bayens was recruited to New Kent in Kindergarten and has been impressing everyone with his size and ability
220 - Wiles moves up in weight and will make a run at the podium in Salem
HWT - Williamson and Rounds who will it be? We shall see.
As iron sharpens iron, so can one man polish the armor of another. TrojanMan 11:4
