New rankings coming after the new year… Martinez has done well but splits wrestle offs in his own room, SM is also his dad so I understand him advocating for him..he needs to take control of that spot. Let’s see if he wins the wrestle off for Trojan Wars. Heard there is a lineup shake up happening in Strasburg too so we will see.. there is no ? Who has the spot. BMART is the spot. We will see you guys at states

Big orange 120 finals Brayden Forbes of JR 6-3 over Bryson Cash of Riverheads Word at the tournament cash moved up to 120 to avoid Bush at 113 so his stay at 120 might be temporary dean has that spot cover no one is beating him for the next two years

But happy for Dean.

Wow. A lot of feelings in this one. Haven’t seen Dean wrestle this year but his record looks pretty good. King of the Rock is a legit tourney. Big congrats to him. But he’s gonna have his hands full with Forbes and the Central Wise kid I believe. Forbes wrestled a very smart match against Cash. You could tell he didn’t want any part of mat wrestling with him after that first takedown. Kept it on his feet. Got called with stall call early and wrestled the boundary alot. Cash drive him out several times but Forbes did enough not to draw another stall call. But when he could get locked up around Cash’s body it was points. 2 takedowns in the match and Cash couldn’t find his offense from space very well. After watching Cash in his first couple rounds he likes coming to his 2 on 1 and getting his offense going from there. Made short work of Starnes and the Lord Botetourt transfer. But he’s gonna have to learn how to wrestle from space more. Kids are figuring him out. He’s made his living on his mat wrestling for years. So kids are gonna be giving him a tough time if they stay neutral and don’t allow him to get to his 2 on 1’s. But I’m sure he’ll adapt. And no he wasn’t ducking Bush. Look at his track and who he’s wrestled. He doesn’t shy away from competition. According to his friends his weight is still up. Wasn’t planning on 113 till sometime In January. Made a tough cut for beast and didn’t want to turn around and make another big cut for this weekend so he wrestled up. He got better competition over all at 120 anyway. But him and Bush would’ve been a fun finals to watch. We should see that at the Big Blue. According to track they’ll both be there and we’ll get to see it.
As far as Wynn goes he looked really good but Witcher looked great in the finals. He just got out wrestled in the finals and it happens. Still think Wynn wins his second but gonna have to wrestle right against Harrel. He’s no push over. Especially if he’s up to weight this year.
Liberty kids looked pretty good. But their 150 pounder has to learn control. Can’t believe he was allowed to continue after dropping an elbow on a kids head like that. I’m all for hard wrestling but that was clearly over the line.
